About Us
Located in Vero Beach, Fort Pierce and Port Saint Lucie, Florida, we specialize in helping children, teens and adults achieve a straight, beautiful smile. Dr. Legler is a Board Certified Orthodontist who along with his staff combines clinical excellence and personalized care in providing comprehensive and advanced orthodontics. We provide this care for you and your family in a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere using state-of-the-art equipment, techniques and appliances such as ceramic braces and Invisalign.
We pride ourselves in providing the highest level of orthodontic care in a pleasant, friendly and fun environment. We offer a full range of orthodontics for the whole family and we use the latest technology such as self-ligating brackets, which make braces more comfortable, hygienic and efficient. We are also a Premier Provider for Invisalign and Invisalign Teen, which means Dr. Legler is in the top 5% of doctors in the country who provide Invisalign treatment.
At Legler Orthodontics our goal is to provide a level of customer service unsurpassed anywhere. That's why we designed our office with our patients in mind, providing kids with a game room and parents with internet access and a coffee bar. Additionally, we spend quality time with our patients, listening to your concerns and answering your questions about braces.
Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Legler received his Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University. He graduated with honors from the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Dentistry where he received the Deans Medal and was elected to the scholastic honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He completed his advanced training in orthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry where he received both a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters Degree.
Dr. Legler is a Board Certified Orthodontist. He is credentialed by the American Board of Orthodontists. He has been in practice on the Treasure Coast since 1991.Aside from his private practice, Dr. Legler is a member of many professional associations including the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the Tri-County Dental Association.
Dr. Legler lives with his wife Kelly and their two children in Vero Beach. They are active members of the community and support several charitable organizations including the Riverside Children's Theater, the Environmental Learning Center, Eagle Scouts and many schools and sports organizations throughout the Treasure Coast.
Meet Our Staff
Kelly is originally from South Florida but now loves living in Vero Beach. She is a graduate of the University of Florida...Go Gators!
As the Office Coordinator, she tries to make the patient experience run as smoothly and pleasantly as possible. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know the wonderful families who visit us and being involved in this terrific community.
When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Janet grew up in Vero Beach and is a proud graduate of Vero Beach High School and attended Indian River Community College.
Janet has worked in financial management for over 35 years and has been the Financial Coordinator for Legler Orthodontics for over three years. Janet most enjoys helping patients to accomplish their treatment goals with exploring flexible payment options for each patient.
Janet has four children and 8 beautiful grandchildren and a dog, Baxter. When Janet isn't busy working, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, shopping and traveling.
Janet has been voted as having the best sense of humor at Legler Orthodontics!
Patti has lived in Vero Beach most of her life. She graduated from Vero Beach High School and Indian River Community College.
Patti became a Certified Orthodontic Assistant in 1990 and has loved working with patients. She also spent several years as a Laboratory Coordinator making beautiful retainers and appliances. Patti really enjoys working with kids and having fun, she looks forward to coming to work everyday.
When Patti isn't working at Legler Orthodontics, she loves to spend time on her boat with her husband and children. She enjoys fishing off shore,gardening and spending time with her family.
Christee is from Hollywood, Florida where she graduated from South Broward High School. She then continued her education at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
Christee joined Legler Orthodontics in 2006 as a Certified Orthodontic Assistant. While she loved working with patients, her artistic talents were needed when she was promoted to Laboratory Coordinator. Christee is responsible for making the beautiful creations we call "Christee's Rockin' Retainers". Christee is extremely artistic and designs beautiful, one of a kind retainers for the patients at Legler Orthodontics. She has requests for many different designs, and has many satisfied "customers"!
When Christee isn't busy being our own Pablo Picasso, she enjoys her time off with her husband and adorable daughter.
